Too graced to be disgraced

THEME: MY DESIRED MIRACLES

TOPIC: TOO GRACED TO BE DISGRACED

TEXT: MARK 5:25-29

Sermon by Rev. Jide Taiwo on 5Th February 2017

This February is our month of Desired Miracles, which God will make to be outstanding in Jesus name.

Understanding Miracles

Miracle is what happen through supernatural that is: without human contribution, where all natural things are suspended.

If you look at our text and example, the woman with the issue of blood, had spent all what she had. I presume the woman could have been a rich woman, because for good twelve years she had been spending on the sickness without desired result.

She might have been hearing of Jesus healing ability before to which she did not attach importance. But this day she heard of Him:

  • She put herself together.

  • Believed Him.

  • Took the step of strong faith that if she could touch the helm of His garment she would be healed.

  • When she acted and touched the helm of His garment she got her desired miracle.

Brother and Sister you too can take the step of strong faith today and approach and turn completely to Him for your Desired Miracles.

The Experience Of The Two Blind Men

Look at the two blind men, they heard Jesus passing by they turned to Him and shouted His name severally at the top of their voices. Though people shouted them down they refused to be quiet until Jesus Christ answered them. Jesus asked a very simple faith probing question,

“Do you believe I can do it” they said they believed and their eyes were opened.

Do you also believe Jesus can give you your desired miracles? Could it be outstanding? Can you say Amen.

FROM THE THEME ABOVE THIS TOPIC EMERGED

TOPIC: TOO GRACED TO DISGRACE

TEXT: The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not suppressed it. ((John) 1:5 CJB)

The Light shines in the darkness. And the darkness has not overpowered the Light. (John 1:5 ICB)

You are too loaded for a sickness or any ugly situation to disgrace you. You cannot be quenched, suffocated, your light can not be extinguished, but rather it shines more than before.

Brother, Sister Bible says you are the light that gives light to others in darkness you are too much to be extinguished.

Your miracles will produce outstanding miracles in the lives of others in Jesus name.

Outstanding Miracles that will cancel long time disgrace in your life receive them now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus performed many miracles using different methods, as we shall see later.

FULFILLING DESTINY IS A MIRACLE

  • The enemies might be saying they will see how you will fulfill your destiny or have success in life. When it happens it will be by supernatural hands of God.
  • Saul wanted to extinguish David from existence so as not to fulfill his destiny, but David was too much graced that Saul could not disgrace the anointing that God put upon him through Samuel. David’s destiny was to rule over the children of Israel which Saul brutality could not stop. David was an apple of God’s eyes likewise you.
  • Surely devil wanted to disgrace you in order for him to receive glory over you, that is why you are experiencing delay and receiving satanic attack here and there, but say to the devil that:

” I am too graced to disgrace”

  • Satan wanted to disgrace the destiny of Joseph, but he failed at every attempt. When devil could have succeeded was when the wife of his boss said he should come and have sex with her, but because of the grace of God upon his life he declined.

It was by miracles David and Joseph fulfilled their destinies. You shall fulfill your destiny.

HEALING OF DISEASES IS A MIRACLE

As I have mentioned above of The woman with The Issue Of Blood and

The Three Blind Men- To the bind man He spoke and miracles happened.

That blind man in John 9

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been born blind. His followers asked him, “Teacher, whose sin caused this man to be born blind—his own sin or his parents’ sin?” Jesus answered, “It is not this man’s sin or his parents’ sin that made him blind. This man was born blind so that God’s power could be shown in him.

While it is daytime, we must continue doing the work of the One who sent me. The night is coming. And no one can work at night. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” After Jesus said this, he spit on the ground and made some mud with it. He put the mud on the man’s eyes.

Then he told the man, “Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam.” (Siloam means Sent.) So the man went to the pool. He washed and came back. And he was able to see. Some people had seen this man begging before. They and the man’s neighbors said, “Look! Is this the same man who always sits and begs?” Some said, “Yes! He is the one.” But others said, “No, he’s not the same man. He only looks like him.” So the man himself said, “I am the man.” (John 9:1-9 ICB)

Healing deaf and dumb – Mark 7:32-35

While he was there, some people brought a man to him. This man was deaf and could not talk. The people begged Jesus to put his hand on the man to heal him. Jesus led the man away from the crowd, to be alone with him. Jesus put his fingers in the man’s ears. Then Jesus spit and touched the man’s tongue. Jesus looked up to heaven and took a deep breath. He said to the man, “Ephphatha!” (This means, “Be opened.”) When Jesus did this, the man was able to hear. He was also able to use his tongue, and he spoke clearly. (Mark 7:32-35 ICB)

DELIVERANCE IS A MIRACLE

When you are delivered from satanic oppression or attack or from bad habit, it is a miracle.

Jabez Deliverance

There was a man named Jabez. He was respected more than his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because she said, “I was in much pain when I gave birth to him.” Jabez prayed to the God of Israel. Jabez said, “Please do good things for me. Please give me more land. Stay with me, and don’t let anyone hurt me. Then I won’t have any pain.” And God did what Jabez had asked. (1 Chronicles 4:9-10 ICB)

The boy with epilepsy.

MIRACLE OF PROVISION

My God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 GW)

Jesus cannot be disgraced, Satan tried it and he failed. Jesus has all authority, Matt 28:18. He is in you, you cannot be disgraced. Now received your desired miracles now in Jesus name.

Matthew 28:18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

Can who has the whole authority on earth and in heaven be disgraced? No, they were just wasting their time, they cannot stop your pregnancy, stop your healing, stop your deliverance, stop your success, stop your admission into your desired university, stop your desired promotion, stop your business from growing, stop your marriage this year in Jesus name and they cannot torch you.

Outstanding miracles are still happening nowadays if you can believe in Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

When Jesus was in the flesh people approach Him physically for their miracles which He performed. But now Jesus is in the Spirit, whoever will approach Him must approval Him in spirit,  believing He is and in truth and holiness and accept Him as Lord and Savior.

You must approach Jesus through your heart when His Spirit is in you.

Sadly, false Christians are expecting miracle to happen and to go to Heaven and will be denied.

What you need is to be born again, that is repent of your sins, follow Him and grow in His word

Laurence J. Peter, said and I quote him “ Going to church does not make you a Christian anymore than going to the garage makes you a car”

Many are ready to do anything told by false Prophet for MIRACLE to happen. It is because the Spirit in them is not the Spirit of Christ and they are shallow in the knowledge of God.

You know there are people still having sex outside of marriage, still going to club, they still have a continuous willful bad mouth. They are just Sunday Christians and only looking for miracles, they don’t care about Christ.

  1. Matthew 15:8 ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. (Matthew 15:8 GW)
  2. Isaiah 29:13 And so the Lord says, “These people say they are mine. They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. And their worship of me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote.
  3. James 1:26 If a person thinks that he is religious but can’t control his tongue, he is fooling himself. That person’s religion is worthless. (James 1:26 GW)

4 1 John 2:9 Those who say that they are in the light but hate other believers are still in the dark.

  1. Titus 1:16  They claim to know God, but they deny Him by what they do. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit to do anything good.

Fake Christians sin on purpose saying, I will just repent later, and disobey God’s teachings. Even though we are all sinners Christians don’t sin willfully and deliberately.

  1. 1 John 2:4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in not in that person.

CONCLUSION

To enjoy the miracles of God everyday live Holy and righteous. If you have not been born again, the greatest miracle you will ever have firstly is the salvation of your soul, which will re- connect you to God your maker through Jesus Christ your miracle Worker.

God bless you and happy new week in Jesus name.
